The Tool Group of Canada is a group of members who are interested in collecting and studying antique tools. Our members, both male and female, collect a wide variety of tools. We currently have two hundred members across Canada and the U.S.A.
Our next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, June 14, 2008 - The June Outing
 
This will be held at the farm of John and Sylvia Jansen, Vandorf Sideroad, Stouffville, Ont.
John operates greenhouses and will discuss "What's New in Horticulture in 2008" and will answer other plant-related questions. Members are asked to provide demonstrations of tool-related topics. This is a great event for family and friends. It takes place on a lawn with a nice wooded area in a picnic-style venue. John's barn and greenhouses are available in case of inclement weather. The  barn walls are full of tools!

Please volunteer to demonstrate your tool specialty/interest area. Call President Brian now!

You are cordially invited to join us at this meeting.


The next subsequent meetings are October 4 and November 15, 2008.

Except for the June meeting, meetings are planned to be held at Black Creek Pioneer Village in Toronto, 1000 Murray Ross Parkway in Toronto, near York University. Please check this web site to confirm location closer to the date.  Members receive five newsletters a year. Each newsletter averages twenty pages and contains articles pertaining to a wide variety of subjects not only about tools and trades, but also about industries which contributed to the development of the country.

Haldimand County Agricultural Antique Tour 2008
A couple of years ago, the Tool Group enjoyed a tour of Haldimand County to see agricultural antiques. This event is available to you personally May 31-June 1. Contact President Brian for a PDF describing the activities and locations, including a map.
