The Tool Group of Canada is a group of people who are interested in collecting and studying antique tools. Our members, both male and female, collect a wide variety of tools including wood planes, blacksmith, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, auto, kitchen  tools ... and corkscrews!. We have members across Canada and the U.S.A.

           Our "JUNE OUTING 2013"

Location:  

Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum

14732 Woodbine Avenue, Gormley, Ontario         

(Just north of Markham)

How to get there: Exit Highway 404 at Bloomington Road, go east, then north on Woodbine (2.7 kms North of Bloomington and Woodbine, on your left side)

The Tool Group June Outing this year is to an attractive pioneer museum with great accessibility and free parking. 

Featuring: tours of the Pioneer Log Cabin, Victorian farmhouse, Post and Beam Barn, an early 1900’s Classroom and lovely grounds. Combined with demonstrations and a hot pioneer lunch in the new modern hall, you won’t want to miss this event! 

Bring your tools for selling or amazing tool collections to show or demonstrate to all of us. 

We offer a great start of summer picnic atmosphere. Invite your friends! All are welcome!


• 9:30 COFFEE, TOOL EXCHANGE, COLLECTIONS/DEMONSTRATIONS
• 10:15 TOURS & DEMONSTRATIONS

•12:00-1:30 LUNCH: Delicious Pioneer Lunch – and it will be a hot lunch!

Cost: $25 per person (Children 12 and under are free).

SPRING 2013 Show: Sunday April 7 2013
(Fall 2013: Sunday November 17, 2013)

Antique tools galore! 30+ vendors show and sell their tools, all kinds of tools ... and are quite willing to share their expertise on tools if you have questions. There are "user" tools that are modestly priced (wood planes, chisels, saws, hammers,etc.). Many rare tools are offered as well for the more "advanced" collector. If you are looking for something different, there are eclectic items as well: you may see metal-working machines, measuring instruments, custom-made planes, etc. Additionally, parts, such as plane blades, are available to complete tools you may have.
