The Tool Group of Canada is a group of people who are interested in collecting and studying antique tools. Our members, both male and female, collect a wide variety of tools including wood planes, blacksmith, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, auto, kitchen  tools ... and corkscrews!. We have members across Canada and the U.S.A.

10:00-12:00  Meeting

Plan to attend our Feb 4, 2012 meeting. John will show and discuss specialized medical and  veterinarian tools that he has constructed. Members are invited to bring medical tools for the "theme display".

The pre-meeting  starts at approximately 9:00 a.m. with coffee and munchies. Tool trading, conversation, and the Silent Auction make it an interesting time. Bring your tools, carpentry supplies, wood, odds and sods to sell. The meeting starts at 10:00 a.m. and runs until 12:00 and includes our guest speaker,  No Tool Fools (guess what this tool is), What's It's (bring your tools that you'd like to identify), Raffle Draw and other activities.


Guests are welcomed and are at no charge.
Please bring a friend!

SPRING 2012 Show: Sunday April 1 2012

Antique tools galore! 30+ vendors show and sell their tools, all kinds of tools ... and are quite willing to share their expertise on tools if you have questions. There are "user" tools that are modestly priced (wood planes, chisels, saws, hammers,etc.). Many rarer tools are offered as well for the more "advanced" collector. If you are looking for something different, there are eclectic items as well: you may see metal-working machines, measuring instruments, custom-made planes, etc. Additionally, parts, such as plane blades, are available to complete tools you may have.

Location: Pickering Recreation Complex; 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Admission Fee: $5.
